Lately I have been on a saison/brett binge. I used to be all about simple standard styled beers (good German lager or English pale ale), but over the last year I have really gotten into the funk. I still think Weihenstephaner Original is the best beer overall, but my favorite to drink lately is Tank 7.
Maybe it's just late, but I figured I'd see who else is still up and having a beer.

I tried this last night: Saugatuck Neapolitan Milk Stout. It's the ultimate dessert beer! You focus on it long enough, and it tastes like Neapolitan ice cream!

I love that Tank 7 (also 6th glass). Favorite lately is Dogfish Head 90 min IPA

I've been enjoying 21st Amendment's Fire Side Chat. I find it quite delicious for being a spiced english ale. Not that creative or weird but that is what is tickling my tastebuds lately. I have yet to get into the sours or brett beers. I know I will venture into that realm soon enough but I don't know if I'm ready to be addicted to sours yet.

mmmm Weihenstephaner. I'm unfortunately out of it right now ;_;
In the same vein, have you tried Schnieder Wiesse, Ayinger, or Mahr's Weisse?

So many good weird beers. Samuel Smith's does a nice strange strawberry thing. Eel River does and acai wheat that's quite good. Anderson Valley's Summer Solstice is kind of different, and is also my favoritest beer. Anderson Valley also does a wonderful bourbon-barrel stout that's perfect for a chilly winter night. Breckenridge Vanilla Porter is awesome. Magic Hat #9 is apricotty, and nice on a hot day. Nectar does a super weird hemp ale that's pretty good. Lost Coast does an awesome raspberry brown. Young's double chocolate stout is like drinking a chocolate milkshake. And of course, there's the phenomenal Alaskan Winter, which is infused with spruce needles.
Right now I'm enjoying a Buffalo Bill's Pumpkin ale. Good stuff.

Right now for me, Saisons > * . That Tank 7 from Boulevard is quite delicious, as is Jester King's Das Wunderkind.

I love saisons but recently I've been getting into sour/tart beers as some places in Mass (Moan and Dove, Dive Bar) have them on tap. I really, really, REALLY love the Bruery's Oude Tart:

Speaking of saisons, have you ever tried the Ommegang Hennepin? That's probably my favorite saison/beer.

sours are good too. 8 really like the jester King beers, been to the brewery twice (it's like 15 minutes from my parents house). In fact I really like the goose Islam's sofia, easy drinking and I can reuse the bottle.

Oh yes, those are some good ones. Actually tried to go to the Ayinger brewery a few years back but they were closed.

Jester King is actually how I got into the weird side of beers. Das Wunderkind is why I like sours now m

Woah, weird misspelling on my part (Goose Island obviously).
